Tashie Macapagal

Tashie Macapagal began playing indoor volleyball in Edmonton where she attended Archbishop O'Leary High School. She played on Edmonton area club teams and spent two summers playing on Team Alberta. Tashie began her CIAU (now USport) career with the University of Alberta Pandas playing from 1996 to 2001. She was an integral part of the Pandas' run of six consecutive national championships winning four National Championships in 1997, 1998, 1999, and 2000.

Tashie has coached both club and high school volleyball teams and began with the Pandas Volleyball Club in 2016 as an assistant coach. She has also coached various camps and clinics. She holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and is a certified NCCP Advanced Development (formerly Level II) Coach. When she's not coaching, Tashie works full time as a Project Manager at the UofA.
