We request that all athletes interested in attending our tryouts, fill in and submit our Athlete Registration when registrations open. 

Volleyball Alberta Registration:

In addition, please ensure that you follow Volleyball Alberta's "Youth Development Player – Tryout" registration requirement prior to the commencement of tryouts.

What to Expect from the Pandas Volleyball Club's Tryout Process: 

Athletes will expected to attend the first tryout date. After the first tryout, selected athletes will be invited to subsequent tryout dates. If you are unable to attend the first tryout, please email pandasvolleyballclub@gmail.com to make arrangements.

Our team coaches, along with our Club's coach mentors/advisors, will be evaluating and encouraging potential club athletes during the tryout process. While the coaches of the respective teams will be making final selections of athletes to their teams, the selection process will be a committee effort. Our committee will be evaluating athletes based on athleticism, upward and future potential, excellence, work ethic and skills. Our tryout committee will be looking for our "future leaders in women's volleyball".

We recognize that tryouts are a stressful time for everyone involved. At each tryout session, our coaches will communicate with the athletes in attendance to let them know if they believe that an athlete will definitely (offered a spot), might possibly (invited to attend next tryout) or won't be a good fit for their team. This way, athletes who won't be a good fit (e.g. if there are too many athletes for an available position) can pursue tryout opportunities with other clubs.
