Suzanne Landers

Suzanne is originally from northern Alberta and started off her volleyball career playing club volleyball for the Grande Prairie Wolves. She was a setter for four years with Team Alberta and won female athlete of the year in 1991. Her team won a silver medal at the Canada Games in 1993. Suzanne went on to play for Grande Prairie College in 1993-94 and the University of Alberta from 1994 to 1996. Suzanne won two national titles in 1995 and 1996 with the Pandas, and she was inducted into the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame in 1995 (team award). In 2014 Suzanne moved to New Brunswick with her family and began the bulk of her coaching and sport building career there. She is currently an Executive Director with the Saint John Timberwolves Volleyball Club.

Her coaching Experience:

  • Club volleyball for the Kennebecasis Valley Panthers (14U and 15U) and Saint John Timberwolves (15U, 16U, and 18U) as head coach and assistant coach

  • Early development head coach (10-12 yrs old) as head coach

  • Team NB 14U and 16U (Canada Cup) as assistant coach

  • University of New Brunswick Reds as assistant coach

  • New Brunswick Canada Games Team (2022) as Manager

Suzanne is currently living in Edmonton and attending the University of Alberta working on her Masters in Coaching where she is an assistant coach with the Pandas Varsity team. She is looking forward to the upcoming season with the Pandas Volleyball Club!
