Pamela Xu

Pamela began her volleyball career when she was 11 years old. She started playing club volleyball for NAVC (13U-15U) and then later for the Pandas Volleyball Club (16U-18U), where her team went on to win Provincials in 2017. She attended Jasper Place High School and played for the senior team from grades 10-12. In grade 12, her school team won the 4A Provincial Championships and Pam was also awarded the Metro All-Star Award.

Pam played one year of ACAC volleyball as a setter for The King’s University of Edmonton where they went on to qualify for Provincials. She was awarded the CCAA All-Canadian Player Award, the ACAC All Conference Player Award, and Rookie of the Year.

Pam has been an assistant coach to the Jasper Place Senior Girls’ volleyball team for two years and is currently attending the University of Alberta as a full-time student in her second year of the BSc of Kinesiology program. When she’s not studying, you can still find her on the court playing co-ed and women’s volleyball!
