The PANDAS Volleyball Club does NOT charge a Tryout Fee:
Instead of charging a tryout fee, the PANDAS Club is supporting a cause that is important to us. We are raising funds for Hope Mission's Annual Christmas Campaign. For just $2.70, a athlete can provide a holiday meal to someone less fortunate in Edmonton. A donation of $16.20 feeds 6 people, $32.40 helps 12 people, ...  A donation box will be available at tryout check-in tables. Alternatively, click on the the image below to take you to the HOPE Mission on-line donation site (you will receive a tax receipt for your donation). Simply add your donation amount to the "Other" field and "Pandas Volleyball Tryout Fee" to the message field. Thank you for your generosity.

What to expect from the PANDAS Volleyball Club's Tryout Process:
Our team coaches, along with our Club's coach mentors/advisors, will be evaluating and encouraging potential club athletes during the tryout process. While the coaches of the respective teams will be making final selections of athletes to their teams, the selection process will be a committee effort. Our committee will be evaluating athletes based on athleticism, upward and future potential, excellence, work ethic and skills. Our tryout committee will be looking for our "future leaders in women's volleyball".
NOTE: We recognize that tryouts are a stressful time for everyone involved. At each tryout session, our coaches will communicate with the athletes in attendance to let them know if they believe that an athlete will definitely (offered a spot), might possibly (invited to attend next tryout) or won't be a good fit for their team. This way, athletes who won't be a good fit (e.g. if there are too many athletes for an available position) can pursue tryout opportunities with other Clubs.

Upcoming Meeting:
A Parent/Athlete Meeting will be held at the Saville Centre in Classrooms 1 - 3, accessed from the 2nd Floor Track, for all athletes (with a parent/guardian) who have been offered and have accepted a spot on a PANDAS team.
