Janelle Rozema

Janelle Rozema started her indoor career in her younger years in Sherwood Park and played for Grant MacEwan Griffins Club. She took a year off of indoor volleyball after graduating high school and played beach volleyball professionally in Queensland, Australia. When she returned to Canada she started her BA in Sports and Rec with and emphasis in elite level coaching at Briercrest College in Saskatchewan.  
  
She was a league leader in kills, aces and digs all four years she played at Briercrest. She then became an Assistant Coach for Briercrest College. After she graduated from college she received her first full time head coaching position in the PACWEST league in BC for Columbia Bible College. She started a club called Columbia Volleyball and coached numerous provincial elite teams. She also coached for Fraser Valley Volleyball club earning a national gold medal with the U16 team and a provincial bronze medal with the U18 team.  
  
After 4 years with Columbia, Janelle accepted a position with Trinity Western University on their coaching staff and won a Canwest bronze medal. She then moved back to Edmonton to join the coaching staff at the University of Alberta with Pandas Volleyball winning both Canwest and CIS silver medals. She is currently on staff with the U of A and very excited to start another season with the PANDAS Volleyball Club!
