Dusty Freimark

Dusty Freimark, originally from Brooks, Alberta, has been either playing or coaching volleyball for the majority of her life. She played volleyball at Brooks High School and Medicine Hat College prior to coming to Edmonton to play with the University of Alberta Pandas from 2002-04. During her time as a Panda, they won a Silver and Bronze medal at the CIS Nationals. Following her graduation, Freimark returned to her passion…coaching. She has coached over 30 teams ranging from Junior High to College to University athletes. The highlight of her career thus far is teaming up with Laurie Eisler and the rest of the Pandas coaching staff for their successful run to the 2007 CIS Championship.

Dusty has been with the Pandas Volleyball Club since the first year of operation in 2010 where she has won 2 provincial titles and a provincial silver. She believes that there are no short cuts, if you want to be a champion; you need to be a champion on and off the court.

Freimark is NCCP Level 3 certified, holds a B.Ed from the U of A and a Master of Education, Physical Education in Coaching Studies from the University of Victoria.
