Christine Biggs

Christine Biggs

Christine began playing indoor volleyball in High School, and played beach volleyball during her summers. She began her college career at Grant MacEwan College (Outside Hitter and Middle positions) and after taking a few years off to travel, was picked up at Red Deer College as an Outside and Middle.  Christine finished her indoor career with the U of A Pandas as a Libero where she was a member of the 2007 National Championship Team. 

Christine has Head Coached for various high school and club teams from the 13-18U level. She has coached and directed summer camps with Grant MacEwan, University of Alberta, and Alberta Volleyball. She has been a member of the Team Alberta coaching staff for both indoor and beach volleyball for several seasons and most recently was the head coach for the Canada Summer Games Team (18U). She holds a Bachelor of Physical Education, a Bachelor of Education, and is an NCCP Level II Coach, and is First Aid certified. 

Christine currently sits on the Alberta Volleyball Association Athlete Development Committee. She is an assistant coach with Team Canada Women's Sitting Volleyball (Paralympic Volleyball). Christine is currently obtaining her Master's Degree in Coaching and is an Assistant Coach of the University of Alberta Pandas Volleyball Team.

Christine has been a Pandas Volleyball Club Coach since the club's first season (2010).
